  • You should — if you need to! If your organization has a lot of internal or interdepartmental communications needs, that’s the perfect sort of thing for someone who works within your office, knows the players, and is dedicated to your organization. Alternatively, if your organization handles a ton of incoming from reporters, it’s also handy to have someone in house who’s immersed in your organization’s work, knows your brand and your message, and can handle media relations any day of the week. That’s an invaluable team member to have! That’s also someone who will require a salary well over the $150,000 or even $200,000 range, plus benefits and retirement. Do what works for you!

  • Again, it’s a matter of preference. A traditional agency’s business model is based on that of a law firm. The partners and senior executives may bring in the business, but the overwhelming majority of the work is performed by interns, recent grads, and other entry employees. The senior executives just review and sign off on work. That’s the best case scenario. A lot of agencies serve as small clearinghouses that bring in clients, sell them a menu of services at high prices, then farm out the work to freelancers while keeping the profits. There are plenty of exceptions and wonderful people in the industry who do good work for their client, but no matter where you go, you’re looking at paying for a substantial amount of overhead.

  • You can, if you’d like to get banned. It sounds dramatic, but it’s true. We regularly have to respond to questions from producers and editors on whether or not artificial intelligence was used at any stage of our work. Along with attesting to the originality and exclusivity of work, we must also attest that artificial intelligence played no role in its production.

  • Typically just 2-3 business days.

  • Depends on your subscription! Go for one at a time with the Starter or get up to three at a time with the Enterprise membership.

  • Then we’ll edit! We won’t stop until it’s right — we just keep your request open until you approve your materials.

  • Our memberships operate on a 31 day month, so if you have all that you need from us after 25 days, you can pause at that point without being charged for a subsequent month. The rest of the week, you’re free to make requests free of additional charge!

  • We’re always open to requests! But unfortunately, we cannot offer the following:
